PMR446 radio stations have 8 channels and 38 subchannels, allowing them to be used by separate groups within the same communication zone. These types of stations are equipped with higher capacity batteries that allow continuous use for up to 12 hours in a 5/5/90% mode (receive/send/standby). No license is required for this frequency, so the stations are sold without any restrictions.
